As a Police Officer
on the S.W.A.T. Team, my vision is very important. I've worn the
proverbial "Coke Bottle" thick glasses since the first
grade. Last year I decided to look into LASIK surgery. I shopped
around comparing service and price, and after an extensive search,
I decided to go with Dr. Matzkin and the EyeSight Laser Center.
Looking back now, I couldn't have made a better choice. Dr. Matzkin
is different from any doctor I've visited. He's always on time,
and never left me waiting in the lobby. I didn't feel rushed during
the examinations, and he took the time to answer all my questions.
His staff conducted themselves in a professional manner, and they
were always pleasant and helpful. The surgery was painless and
it only took one minute and forty three seconds to erase thirty
eight years of bad vision.
When I arrived home after the surgery, I threw my glasses in the
trash. My vision was crystal clear and my days of poor fitting,
foggy, scratched glasses are just a bad memory. The best feeling
in the world is looking at a rack of sunglasses and picking out
any pair I want, then wearing them home. I have a 12 year old
son, and I've already told him I will pay for LASIK surgery when
he turns 18. Thank you for the fantastic work.

I want to take
this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the incredible
experience I had at EyeSight Laser. As you know, it has been about
2 months since I had LASIK and my vision seems stable at 20/15.
Absolutely amazing! I have worn glasses or contacts since I was
old enough to drive, so my knew vision, and freedom, is simply
a dream come true!
I certainly got the results I hoped for when I chose you and the
EyeSight team, and I want you to know it was not a choice I made
lightly. I visited 4 centers before deciding on EyeSight Laser.
I asked questions, learned about the technology; the difference
between a broad-beam and flying-spot laser, for example, and the
cost of the procedure. I had full eye exams at 3 of the centers.
The results were comparable, as were the lasers at each center.
Of these centers, Eyesight was only $300 more expensive than LASIKPlus
and $1000 less than TLC. But what really sold me on EyeSight was
the positive feeling I got from everyone in your office.
Each time I went
to your office, I was greeted by the same, familiar, smiling faces.
Everyone was professional and enthusiastic about the prospect
of helping me see better. Most importantly, of the four centers
I visited, you were the only surgeon I actually met. You probably
would have done as good a job had you not met me before the surgery,
but I felt more comfortable because you did, and comfort, as you
obviously know, is very important where one's eyes are concerned.
In closing, let me say thank you again, and congratulations on
the fine organization you have built. I have already told many
people about the positive experience I had at your center and
will gladly serve as a reference (678-725-1025) for anyone considering
LASIK at EyeSight.

surgery is like being touched by a healer! People who are blessed
with good vision from birth will never know the feeling, but those
of us who have worn contacts and glasses all of our lives could
never receive a better gift than to be given perfect vision! No
more contacts, glasses, saline, eye drops, they all went in the
trash can! And now I can stay up late at night without the dry
itchy eyes! I just can't say enough about what LASIK surgery has
done to improve my quality of life!! Thanks again Dr. Matzkin.

In June I will turn 61 years old. Glasses have been a very important part of my every day life since I was 12 years old. As a kid I was teased about wearing glasses and therefore in highschool decided I would no longer wear them. As a result my grades dropped because of poor vision. I had trouble seeing the board and reading assignments.
My second daughter at the age of 6 was diagnosed with a lazy eye, same as my diagnosis, and was told she would have to wear glasses. I told her the glasses were a must and she would have to wear them. To help the situation I started wearing my glasses again. By this time my vision had worsen and my lenses were very thick and very uncomfortable. But at that time there was no relief in sight and no alternatives.
With all the excitement about laser surgery
I decided to check it out myself. I contacted Dr. Matzkin's office
to see if I was a candidate, and to my surprise he said he could
help me. I had the surgery in October, it went very smooth and
with great success. I now have 20/30 vision, and could not be
happier. I have been given a new freedom as to the things I can
do. If you are wearing glasses call and make an appointment today

I want to thank everyone at the EyeSight Atlanta. The entire staff made me feel very comfortable. What litte bit of fear I had they quickley took away. The entire procedure happened exactly as I was promised. I didn't really feel a thing when the actual procedure was performed. After the procedure, a friend drove me home and I slept til the next morning. When I woke up it was so awesome to open my eyes and see without glasses or contacts. I still reached for them by habit. The aftercare is great. I would recommend to anyone to get this done -- it's the best money I've ever spent.

I can't thank you enough for the wonderful gift of sight. When I came to Eyesight Laser I could not even see the giant E at the top of the eye chart. Ten minutes after the surgery I was seeing letters on the 20/30 line and one day later I was seeing letters on the 20/15 line with both eyes, better than 20/20! I drove myself to work the day after with crystal clear vision and have experienced no pain whatsoever.
Everyone in the office, from the receptionist, to the financial person, to all the doctors and laser specialists were wonderful to deal with and incredibly friendly. I truly felt like they all cared about my well being and were genuinely excited for the change in my life. Dr. Matzkin even took his personal time to call me at home the day of the surgery to make sure I was doing all right and had no questions.
I have and will continue to recommend your office to all my friends and coworkers who are still wearing glasses or contacts. I can't say enough about the experience.

I had pretty good eyesight up until my mid-forties. Since that time I did not need glasses to drive or watch tv or go to the movies. I would leave my glasses at work and find myself at a restaurant unable to read a menu or be somewhere and not be able to read a magazine or map. Since getting the LTK surgery, I have no trouble at all reading menus, maps andmagazines. I have suggested it to several of my friends and only wear my glasses at work about an hour a week.

I had my laser eye surgery done on December 5, 2002, and everything went perfectly. The day of my surgery, I went home and I was able to see the alarm clock on my night stand from my bedroom door. Before the surgery, I couldn't read the clock without my glasses or contact lenses on. Wow, what a comfortable feeling! I can see much better now, after one month than, I could see wearing contact lenses or my glasses. In fact, I can even read several things now, at my age (62), without using my half glasses. What a magnificent feeling!
Your staff is extremely polite, friendly, and creates a very comfortable environment for the eye surgery. You are a professional at your work and I would highly recommend your name to my friends, that are considering the laser surgery. In fact, my wife and daughter are most likely to be visiting you soon.
