We've had many patients take the time to write us regarding their
LASIK or LTK vision correction procedures here at EyeSight Laser
Center, and we certainly appreciate their efforts. We
believe you will find our patient testimonials pages to be more
than just testimonials to the service we provide -- as you read
through you will learn a great deal about each patient's experience
throughout the laser surgery process.

I wanted to let others know how wonderful Lasik is for anyone with a disability. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in 2002 and have had my share of ups and downs. This year, during an exacerbation, I lost my ability to use my hands. I could not put my glasses on, much less clean them. My vision was so bad the only time I did not wear my glasses was in the middle of the night to use the restroom. Any other time I had my glasses on. During this exacerbation I did not know if I would ever be able to use my hands again. That's when I looked to Dr. Matzkin to see if he could help me. I was fortunate enough not to have Optic Neuritis, which Lasik can not fix to my understanding.
We went in to see if I qualified and the wonderful staff was able to set up the procedure the next day. The procedure went great! Dr. Matzkin and his staff are one of a kind. They make you feel so welcomed and truly care abut you. I felt so grateful to have Dr. Matzkin perform the surgery. It was such a wonderful blessing. My eyesight is great and I couldn't recommend a better place to trust with your sight. With MS you never know what's going to happen next, but I know you should never take for granted what you are able to do. And during the times when I am in the bed a great deal of the day, it sure is nice not to have to worry about my vision. So if you or a loved one has a disability of any type, I would definitely recommend Dr. Matzkin.
Thank you all at EyeSight Laser!

Dear Dr. Matzkin,
I wanted to drop you a note about how pleasant my experience at Eyesight Laser was recently. Your entire staff, from the waiting area to the OR, were just great to my wife, Karen, and me. They were prompt, efficent and respectful during our entire treatment period. Thank you, Dr. D, for taking time to answer all of our questions about Lasik, explaining my situation and allowing me to make the decision that has allowed me to witness the world around me more clearly now! I can read the exit signs now from the Skycopter Lounge and I have not picked up a magnifying glass to look at my map since you worked your magic. Thank you also for the patience you displayed when trying to get those
contacts in!
You all are the best!
Happy Motoring,

It took me many years to decide to
have Lasik. Now, like everyone I know who had it done, I wonder
why I didn't do it years ago.
The pre- and post-procedure check-ups were
professional and all of my questions were answered truthfully
and with patience. I love Dr. Matzkin and everyone who works there.
The entire process was problem free and being able to see clearly
all the time is a constant joy. My experience couldn't have been
better.
Perhaps my highest compliment is that I
recommended them to my brother and my dearest friend. Raising
a four year old boy and counting on them to help, I definitely
need them both healthy and very sharp-sighted!

Dr. Matzkin,
Greetings from Baghdad. All is well on
the frontier of freedom. The soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division
are performing exceptionally and are taking steps everyday to
ensure that the people of Iraq are afforded the opportunity to
embrace the true meanings of freedom and liberty. Our nation would
be proud of the effort displayed by all of our soldiers. Our efforts
to rid this nation and region of an armed insurgency will free
the world from the perils of terrorism in the years to come. We
are eternally grateful for the support those back home have provided
and we are eager for a speedy return upon completion of a successful
mission.
I personally wanted to convey my deepest
thanks for the quality of eyesight that you provided me last December.
In the four months since I underwent LASIK surgery, I have encountered
blinding sandstorms, night time missions, and long hours between
sleep. At no time, during any of these events, has my eyesight
been a detriment. My eyes have never felt better and my vision
is extraordinary. The clarity of my vision has strengthened my
ability while on missions. I have two close friends that also
received LASIK in December through other providers. Both struggle
with significant side effects that hamper their vision. I am thankful
to not have such post-op issues.
Thanks to your staff as well. The professional,
timely, and accurate delivery of eye care is in keeping with the
finest traditions of the healthcare profession. Your technicians
and administrative staff were knowledgeable and eased my concerns
with receiving the surgery. Their attentiveness and ability to
explain the procedure made me feel 100% confident about the quality
of care I would receive.
I look forward to receiving my post-op
checkup when I come home for leave sometime in late summer. Please
let me know I can be of further assistance.
Regards,
CPT Matt Brooks

I wanted to take a minute
to tell you and your staff how appreciative I am for the quality
of service and the clarity of vision that I now have. As you know,
before my surgery I had to squint to see the large “E”
on the board without correction. In less than 24 hours after my
surgery I was seeing 20/20 with no correction, no pain, and no
blur!!!
I really put a
lot of time and energy into educating myself about the laser procedure,
the possible positive and negative outcomes, possible complications,
and I reviewed many testimonials from others who had undergone
laser surgery. Armed with the right questions to ask and knowing
what answers I should and should not expect, I ventured to three
different Atlanta area surgery centers. I quickly narrowed my
search to two clinics and I knew that both of these clinics would
provide me with quality care, the best and latest equipment available,
and well-trained and respected surgeons. Narrowing my decision
to your clinic was made for the following reasons:
- Your training and medical references
were very impressive and outstanding. Not every physician is
chosen for the Einstein School of Medicine.
- Your office was small, modern,
not crowded, and very comfortable – not that I have ever
had to wait more than 4-5 minutes during any visit.
- During my first visit I was seen
quickly, treated with respect, and I was met with friendly smiles
by you and your staff.
- Every question I asked or concern
that I expressed - both during and after my initial visit -
was answered to the nth degree.
I made my final
decision based on some non-quantitative factors … How comfortable
did I feel with the staff and surgeon. I realized that healing
from any type of procedures can be affected with one’s comfort
level with the person performing the procedure.
With all other
factors being equal, there was no doubt in my mind that I would
receive personalized and professional care from you and your staff.
Also, I had a sense that if there were any complications I would
be treated at a personal level and not at the level of a mere
number on a chart.
My homework paid
off and my gut feelings were right on target. I have received
great pre and post-operative care and my vision is out of this
world. Thanks to you, your staff, and the current technology available,
I now have true eyesight for the first time in 39 years. Thank
you for your time, work, and dedication to the others and me that
you help every day.
Please feel free
to have any potential customers contact me in person to discuss
my experience at EyeSight Laser. I can be contacted at 404-297-3876
(work), 404-687-9001 (home), or 901-240-5444 (cell).
